Dorothy M. Kelberger LeMay, 91, of Cherokee Village died April 4, 2005, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born June 29, 1914, in Kenosha, Wis., she was the daughter of George and Cora Kelberger. She married Robert J. LeMay Jan. 25, 1940. He preceded her in death Feb. 26, 2000. She worked for Snap On Tools in Kenosha and as a secretary for many years for the Harrington Insurance Company. She moved to Cherokee Village with her husband 27 years ago. She was an avid golfer and most recently a member of the Cherokee Village Women's Golf Association. She was also a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cherokee Village.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Mrs. Paul (Trudie) LeMay; and her six nieces and nephews -- Susan Maddux, Larry LeMay, Ronald Story and Donald Bausano, all of Kenosha, James Bausano of Sheboygan Falls, Wis., and Janet Gearhart of Beloit, Wis.; and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers -- Clarence and George Kelberger.
A memorial mass was April 22 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cherokee Village with Father Kevin Atunzu officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland, Ark.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or the Spring River Hospice of Cherokee Village.
