MAMMOTH SPRING -- The purpose of the April 10 Mammoth Spring School Board meeting was to review and approve a district technology plan and network use policy.
Phillip Thomas, district technology coordinator, presented a proposed technology plan and a network use policy to school board members at the meeting. Board members voted unanimously to adopt both.
A list of substitute teachers was submitted to the school board for approval. The names submitted included Cheryl Kinder and Cassie Todd.
Two resignations were accepted by the school board. They were Bertha Huffmaster, a food service cook, and Mary Manes, a Chapter I aide.
School board member Devon Smoot mentioned he would like for the district to consider the school as the voting place for future school and other elections in the Mammoth Spring area.
A unanimous vote of the school board members will now allow the district to offer the facilities to the election commission for future elections.
