Disaster loans now available

OREGON COUNTY -- Businesses in Oregon County that suffered loss of income due to drought conditions from July 1 through Dec. 31, 2002, may now apply for economic injury disaster loans through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

According SBA officials these loans are available to help businesses meet normal operating expenses that cannot be met due to the effects of a disaster such as a drought.
