OREGON COUNTY -- The Oregon County Health Department has Boost Plus (a vitamin-enriched nutritional energy drink) to be distributed free to any Oregon County resident who qualifies. According to Oregon County Health Department Director Sheila Russell, a questionnaire must be filled out to show nutritional need. FEMA has provided the county with the allotment of the drink and the health department was the agency chosen to distribute the drink.
Russell said this will be on a first come, first served basis, and there is only a limited amount.
For questions on the drink program call the Alton office Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 778-7450 or the Thayer office Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 264-3114.
