ALTON -- Alton Public Library will hold a summer reading program through the month of June. All programs will be held on Mondays, beginning June 7. All children are invited to attend the free programs.
The first program will be Teresa the Magicianess. This program will be held at the Alton Elementary Multipurpose Building at 10 a.m. The same program will also be held the same day at 1 p.m. at Fun and Friends in Thayer.
The next program will be Ronald McDonald. It is scheduled for June 14 at 10:30 at the Alton Library.
Reptiles and Amphibians will be presented by Ronda Rimer of the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) at 10 a.m. at the library.
Smokey the Bear will be presented June 28 at 10 a.m. at the Alton Library. This program will be presented by MDC.
