Byron Extension Home-makers Club met Feb. 14. President Cloris Newman presided. There were three members and one guest present to recite the pledge, creed and to answer roll call. The question was "Is your estate prepared for the future?"
The inspirational reading was by Nancy Fleece. It was entitled "My Greatest Prize." Newman turned over a bonus check for labels that were turned in 2004.
Fleece reported expenses for the community potluck. A discussion was held regarding the spring council meeting May 3. Byron's duty is registration.
Sixteen Comfort Bears and two cookie tins were turned in. These were placed in storage until needed for ongoing projects.
The Byron annual graduation dinner date for the area graduating students has been set for April 24 at 1:30 p.m. Liz Neal will be asked to obtain a list of graduates. The county program consisted of personal estates.
Fleece read the thought of the month and Diane read the household hint. The guest was Katelyn Perryman.
Byron EHC meets on the second Monday of each month at 1 p.m.
