Marian L. Marchbanks, 68, of Evening Shade, Ark., died Feb. 28, 2005, at White River Medical Center in Batesville. Born Dec. 10, 1936, at Pontiac, Mich., she was the daughter of William and Millie Johnson Mahan. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Bap-tist Church of Evening Shade.
Survivors include a son, Thomas E. Marchbanks of Evening Shade; six daughters -- Sherry Welch of Keego Harbor, Mich, Norman Bridgewater of Green Valley, Ariz., Nola Clark of Paragould, Lori Marchbanks of the home; Kim Bruyette of Melbourne, and Cathy Landers of South Point, Ohio; a sister, Alma Palmer of Skiatook, Okla.; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman Thomas Marchbanks a sister, Dorothy Hoadley and a daughter-in-law, Evette March-banks died earlier the same day.
The funeral was March 4 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with John Deaton officiating. Burial followed in Powells Chapel Cemetery near Poughkeepsie with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Kevin Morrow, Brent Lancaster, Terry Joe Cude, Phil Bruyette, David Brock, Billy Fitzsimmons, Darrell Morrow and Rudy Smith.
