Myrtle Lorraine Kallhoff, of Salem, Ark., daughter of the late William McHugh and Nora L. Seely Blackney and stepdaughter to the late Donald Blackney, was born Feb. 1, 1930, at North Platte, Neb. She departed this life Nov. 5, 2004, at Salem, at the age of 74 years.

Myrtle was united in marriage to Wilferd Theodore Kallhoff on Dec. 24, 1954, at Atlantic, Iowa. She was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Moose Lodge 1299 in Fontana, Calif.

Survivors are her husband, Wilferd Kallhoff of Salem; a brother, Robert Rodman and wife, Andrea of Omaha, Nev.; uncle, Ben Seely and wife, Mary, of Milwaukee, Oregon; great aunt, Lily Peterson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; cousin, Louise Christiansen of Sutherlin, Oregon; two nieces -- Tina Lasauskas and husband, Tony of Omaha, Neb., and Djuana Jusino and husband, Joseph of Omaha; eight great-nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem. Memorial services will be held at a later date and time.
