William Russell Pierce, 66, of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., died July 18, 2004, at his residence.
Born Sept. 22, 1937, at Marshfield, Wis., he was the son of Russell and Bertha Reebe Pierce.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served from 1955 to 1959. He was a member of the Lions Club, the Eagles, the American Legion, VFW, the planning commission, the zoning commission, the industrial committee, boating and fishing club and the Tri-County Board of Realtors. He was a loving father and grandfather. His wife Karen, is the owner of Karen's Kitchen in Horseshoe Bend.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Pierce of the home; his mother, Bertha Pierce; four sons -- Russell Pierce, William Pierce, Brady Seiberlich and wife, Amy, and Robert Deaton; two daughters -- Christine Holzen and her friend, Bobby; and Tonia Schultz and her husband, Edward; four sisters -- Beverly, Barbara, Charlene and Charlotte; and six grandchildren -- Nicholas, Kyle, Meredith, Laural, Catherine and Josephine.
He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Pierce.
Arrangements are under the direction of Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel.
