Loyd "Leslie" Walker, 90, of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Cave City, Ark., died June 9, 2004 at the Hillcrest Specialty Hospital in Tulsa. Born Feb. 21, 1914 at Jesup, Ark., he was the son of Fredrick and Luvenia Simpson Walker. He was a farmer, school bus driver, a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II, serving four years in the Pacific Theater, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member and elder of the Milligan Campground Presby-terian Church.
Survivors include a son, Lloyd Walker of Tulsa, Okla.; a grandson, Scott Walker of Austin, Texas; a granddaughter, Jennfer Walker of Castle Rock, Colo.; a great-granddaughter, Bailey Sells of Castle Rock, Colo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois Lackey Walker; and 12 brothers and sisters.
The funeral was June 12 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Burial followed in the Milligan Campground Cemetery near Strawberry. Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
