Brammanns to renew vows

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brammann Sr. of Cherokee Village will renew their wedding vows in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. The ceremony is to take place at 2 p.m. July 10 at Franklin Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Norton officiating.

The couple married on July 11, 1954, at Brookley Air Force Base Chapel in Mobile, Ala., Mr. Brammann is retired from civil service and the Baldwin County, Ala., School System where he was the head custodian. Mrs. Brammann is a former long distance telephone operator/supervisor.

They have two daughters -- Deborah (Ray) Salter of Columbiana, Ala., and Suzanne (Ricky) Hinman of Stapleton, Ala. They also have two sons -- Fred Brammann Jr. of Elberta, Ala., and Stephen (Helen) Brammann Sr. of Spanish Fort, Ala. They have five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The ceremony and reception is being hosted by their children.

Following the reception Mr. and Mrs. Brammann will take a trip to Branson, Mo.
