OREGON COUNTY -- Two St. Louis residents have been charged with possession of a controlled substance by officers with the Oregon County Sheriff's Office.
According to a report from law enforcement officials, Julie Wilkinson, 25, was arrested last weekend on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.
She posted $5,000 bail. Bryan Hobson, 25, was issued a ticket last weekend on a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana. Both Wilkinson and Hobson are scheduled to appear in court Sept. 10.
Bobby Joe Couch, 50, Thayer of was issued a summons recently on charges of misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 27.
Christopher Bates, 25, of Alton was arrested recently by officers with the sheriff's department on a charge of tampering with a motor vehicle. According to a sheriff's report, he posted a $7,500 bail and will appear in court Sept. 3.
Danny H. Bates, 46, of Alton was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor assault. He posted a $1,000 bail and is also to be in court Sept. 3.
