Three plans were approved by the Couch School Board when they met Sept. 13 at the school: The Injury and Violence Prevention Plan, the Crisis Plan and 2005-06 bus routes and transportation program.
The school board voted to allow organizations to annually attend national conventions with student participation limited to 15 students and the club or organization being responsible for transportation expenses.
The installation of a sound system in the old gym was discussed and Superintendent Rolla Fraley presented costs and types of marquee signs to announced upcoming events at the school.
Fraley said that property owned by the state would be sold at auction Sept. 30. The school board discussed the feasibility of using the property as a bus maintenance facility. No action was taken.
The names of Kim Martin, Susan Mueller, Tammy Dorton, Paula Murdock and Trudi Roberson were added to the substitute teacher.
