William Robert Wallace, 66, of McCrory died Sept. 16, 2005, at his brother's home in Franklin. He was born May 4, 1939, in Ragan, Tenn., the son of William Riley and Louise Joyce Wallace. People loved him for his quiet, innocent demeanor. He loved to dance and went to many of the senior citizens centers in his area to participate in his favorite past time. Bro. Phil Huggins a friend of his brother, Gary, nicknamed Robert the "Dancing Machine." He belonged to Sharpe's Chapel in Cherry Valley, Ark.
Survivors include four brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Carolyn Wallace of Franklin, Jerry and Linda Wallace of Bartlett, Tenn., Don and Anita Wallace of Germantown, Tenn., and Billy and Betty Wallace of Bartlett, Tenn.; one sister and brother-in-law, Carol Joyce and "Duke" Gault of Denton, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry Joe Wallace.
The funeral service was Sept. 19 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with J.L. McGarrity officiating. Burial followed in the Evening Shadows Cemetery at Horseshoe Bend with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Don Wallace, Billy Wallace Todd Wallace, Michael Wallace, Bryan Wallace and Kenneth Tharp.
