Winona Farier Stroud, 81, of Sandtown, Ark., died Sept. 24, 2004, at Sharp Nursing Home in Sidney.
She was born Dec. 26, 1922, at Sandtown to Samuel B. and Myrtle Martin Farrier.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Pool's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church at Sandtown.
Survivors include: one son, Larry Stroud of Cave City; one daugher, Sharon Sanders of Bethesda; five gandsons -- Bill Sanders of California, Glen Sanders, Jason Mead and Sam Mead, all of Batesville, and Luke Lewolfe Stroud of Cave City; one granddaughter, Aymee Mead of Batesville; three great-grandchildren -- Madeline Mead, Isabelle Mead and Justin Mead, all of Batesville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Alvie Stroud.
The funeral service was held Sept. 27 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. J.W. Roach officiating.
Burial followed in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery west of Cave City, with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Butch Crafton, Jeff Holland, Trent Bradley, Jeff Morris, Jeremy Conyers and Roger Brown.
Honorary pallbearers were Lowell Stroud, Boyce Stroud and Drew Ponder.
