Netta Craine, daughter of the late John S. and Eula S. Newman-Gooden Oyler was born Feb. 26, 1927, in Kohoka, Ark.
She died Sept. 29, 2004, at Scenic View Nursing Home in Herculaneum, Mo., at the age of 77 years.
She married Joe D. Craine May 16, 1946, in Mammoth Spring, Ark. She was a homemaker and she did commercial quilting in her home. She was a member of Fairview Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Joe D. Craine of Festus, Mo.; children -- Peggy (Jerome) Brewington, Festus, Mo., Larry (Sandy) Craine, Elkton, Md., and Kathy Rogers of Festus, Mo.; grandchildren -- Kellie (David) Loveless, Larynda (James) Jones, Aimie Hamilton, Michael (Jeannie) Rogers, Jennifer (Lonnie) Steele, Trent (Rebecca) Brewington, Jerry Rogers, Brent Brewington and Charlie (Bobbie) Craine; 32 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Delma) Oyler, Independence, Mo.; and Sam (Luverla) Oyler, Wichita, Kan.; a brother-in-law, Leroy Craine and sister-in-law, Lorene Craine.
She was preceded in death by three brothers -- Hearl and Bill Gooden and J. E. Oyler; a son-in-law, Richard Rogers; and her father and mother.
The funeral service was Oct. 2 at the Cox-Blevins Chapel in Salem, Ark. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Mammoth Spring with arrangements under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
