Laura Marie Harrison, daughter of Nedra Jewell Hice and the late Granvel Lee Hice, was born Feb. 10, 1951, in McNeal, Ariz., and died Sept. 23, 2003, in Koshkonong, at the age of 52.
She was married on Nov. 25, 1972 in the Nebo Pentecostal Church in Alton to Herbert Dale Harrison.
She was a homemaker and a baker and worked for Wallace and Owens Country Mart in Thayer, Mo. for several years. She was a born again believer in the Pentecostal Assembly of God faith and was a member of the church at Koshkonong for 23 years where she was a teacher and a youth worker.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert Dale Harrison of Koshkonong; her mother, Nedra Jewell Hice of Koshkonong; three brothers, Robert Nice and wife, Denise of Troutville, Va., Herbert Hice and wife, Helen of Mountain Home, and Delbert Hice and wife, Toni of Koshkonong; asister, Etta Willbanks and husband, Bud of Koshkonong; nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; four brothers, Ruben, Ralph, Melvin and William Hice; one sister, Grace Hice and two infant siblings.
Services were Sept. 26 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Rev. Loyd Adams officiating. Burial was in the Koshkonong Cemetery with arrangements by Carter Funeral Home Inc. of Thayer.
Pallbearers were Junior Andrews, Jack Anderson, Charlie Roark, Pat Nicholson, John Murrell and Garrel Rogers.
