Lucille G. Miller, 77, of Alton, Mo., was born Oct. 6, 1926, in Keytsville, Mo., and died Jan. 4, 2004, at the Shepherd's View Residential Care in Alton.
Lucille's first love was for God, followed by the love of her family. She was baptized April 23, 1950, at the Blue Summit Baptist Church. She also enjoyed a passion for music and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda German and husband, Bob, of Alton; one son, Ralph Miller and Arlene, of Bates City, Mo.; two sisters -- Hazel Wallace of Blue Springs, Mo. and Elizabeth Agursa of Independence, Mo.; two brothers -- Bob Howard of Lees Summit, Mo., and Ralph Howard of Loveland, Co.; six grandchildren -- Dean and JoAnn Hammond, JacqueLyn Marshall, Gregg German and Rose, Richie German and wife, Melissa, Lorinda Deiter and husband, Jeff, and Jim Jones; and ten great-grandchildren -- Kayla, Anthony, Terry, Kaiya, Schellby, Tiffany, Garrett, McKensey, Eric and Logan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Miller; her parents -- Fred and Elizabeth Howard; five brothers -- Estel Perry, Nelson Perry, J.W. Howard, Freddie Howard and Lawrence Howard; and one great-grandson, Gregory Dean German.
The funeral was Jan. 7 at New Beginnings FWB Minis-tries in Bates City, Mo., with Bob German officiating, and with interment following in the Love Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton.
