MRID reported income of $15,542.52 for the month of December and expenses of $32,479.70, for a net loss of $16,937.45, according to commissioner Jim Thompson.
Year-to-date income totaled $589,477.50, expenses $605,652.19, for a net loss of $16,174.69.
The Pro Shop reported 646 rounds of golf played in December with the following breakdown: member 567; paid green fees 46; twilight golf 18; card specials 1, miscellaneous 14 with 22 carts rented.
Total rounds of golf for 2003 was 22,570.
Hours for January and February are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting. If the Pro Shop is closed the golf course will also be closed, Thompson said.
Work is being done on the golf course, including drainage repairs, trimming trees and repairing paths. Work has begun on a wet area on hole eight in the front of the green. The cart path by hole 11 will have new rock.
Commissioners have been discussing winter rates for all golfers. When the rates are set they will be posted at the Pro Shop and the MRID office.
