Mildred Trantham, 94, of Searcy, Ark., died March 12, 2008. She was born Nov. 20, 1913, in Job, Mo., the daughter of William Bascum and Grace Jenkins Clark.
She retired from General Motors where she was a bookkeeper. She was a member of College Church of Christ.
Survivors include: her daughter, Shirley Rhoads and husband, Wesley of Flint, Mich.; grandchildren, Laurie Hearst and husband, Vinson of Flint, Mich., Lisa Stogner and husband, Brian of Davison, Mich., Leslie Francis and husband, Brad of Searcy, Phillip Rhoads and wife, Melissa of Rogers, Mark and Perry King of Arizona; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Brown of Arizona, Geneva Sorrell and husband, David of Myrtle, Mo.; stepchildren, Ron Trantham and wife, Kathy of Port St. Lucia, Fla., Ray Trantham and wife, Jan of Flushing, Mich.; and a cousin, Faye Rushton of Searcy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; son, Owen Clark ?King; three husbands, Noble King, Taz King and Pete Trantham.
Arrangements were under the direction of Powell Funeral Homes of Searcy.
