Geneva M. Yow Park, 87, of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., died Nov. 5, 2007 in Horseshoe Bend.
She was born July 29, 1920, in Hardy, Ark., the daughter of Henry B. Spicer and Mary (Shane) Spicer.
She worked in real estate for many years for the Horseshoe Bend Development Company. She was a member of the Horseshoe Bend United Methodist Church and the Lions Club.
She is survived by: four sons, Melvin Yow Jr. (Janie) of Fresno, Calif., Robert Yow (Johnna) of Hugo, Okla., Thomas Yow of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Dr. Ron Yow (Cheryl) of Glencoe; one brother, Jim Spicer of San Jose, Calif.; two sisters, Marie Sills of Mountain Home and Pat Zamitis of San Jose, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Henry and Mary Spicer; her first husband, Melvin Yow Sr.; her second husband, Henry Park; two brothers Carl and Benny Spicer; and two sisters, Betty Sills and Ruth Thompson Spray.
Funeral services were held Nov. 10 at the Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland, Ark., with Dr. Larry White officiating. Burial followed in the Bronaugh Cemetery north of Hardy.
Pallbearers were Melvin Yow Jr., Robert Yow, Thomas Yow, Dr. Ron Yow, Jeremy Yow and Harry Faigle.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
