Sarah Taylor was in total control on the hill April 8 in the Izard County Lady Cougars' double-header with Mount Pleasant.
Taylor worked both games and tossed no-hitters in both games, as Izard County won game one 6-0 and game two 7-0.
Taylor threw a total of 10 innings on the afternoon and struck out 19 of the 30 batters she faced.
Trace Grinnell also had a big day for the Lady Cougars, blasting a home run in each game.
In game one, Taylor allowed no hits and no walks while fanning 11 Lady Bluebirds.
Lane Norvold went two-for-two in the game, with Izard County grabbing the lead with five runs in the third inning.
In the nightcap, Taylor walked just one, gave up no hits and struck out eight.
Kailey Moss notched a pair of hits for the Lady Cougars in game two.
Taylor was back at it the next day, April 9, as she fired a one-hitter in Izard County's 3-0 win over Calico Rock.
The Lady Cougars scored all three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Taylor retired 15 of the 22 hitters she faced via strikeouts in the contest.
