Eanos E. Hinson, age 74, of Cave City, Ark., died June 14, 2005, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
He was born June 15, 1930, in Evening Shade, Ark., the son of Wesley and Eula Duncan Hinson. He was an electrician, a U.S. Amy veteran, having served during the Korean War, and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Louise Jackson Hinson of the home; one son, Michael Hinson of Thorntown, Ind., one daughter, Teresa Coughlin of Bonita Springs, Fla., one brother, Eulice Hinson of Kokomo, Ind.; five sisters -- Mage Cox of Atascadero, Calif., Coleen Maples of Batesville, Irene Millsap of Desha, Verlene House of Batesville and Veda Reynolds of Center, Ind.; six grandchildren -- Eric Bowers of Bonita Springs, Fla., Shannon Bowers of Naples, Fla., Joe Hinson of Lafayette, Ind., Steven Hinson of Indianapolis, Ind., Justin Schrock of Muncie, Ind., and Jared Long of Thorntown, Ind.; three great-grandchildren -- Shawn Craig, Dylan Bowers and Mayson Bowers all of Florida, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services were June 17 at the Maxville Cemetery located north of Cave City with Rev. Allen Brown officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Eric Bowers, Brandon Hamlet, Tim Hamlet, Ernie Marlin, Terry Hinson and Eddie Millsap.
Honorary pallbearers were David Kunkel Sr., Lester Marlin, Felix Smith and Eddie House.
