Roland L. "Rollie" Mauschbaugh, 76, of Ozark Acres, Ark., died June 16, 2005, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Ark. He was formerly of East Peoria, Ill.
He was a commissioner of the Ozark Acres Suburban Improvement District (SID), a member of the Ozark Acres AARP and the community choir. He was an avid bowler and bowled with the Senior League.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Gray Mauschbaugh of the home; three sons -- John and Kim Riggs of GreenCove, Springs, Fla., Rory and Tracy Mauschbaugh of Willard, Mo., and James and Jesseca Mauschbaugh, U. S. Navy Pt. Muga, Calif; three daughters -- Sherrie and Mike Connolly of Jackson, Tenn., Sherry Lyn and Don Mayberry of Derby, Kan., and Robyn and Shannon Wilson of Bolivar, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; two brothers -- William Mauschbaugh of East Peoria, Ill., and Henry Mauschbaugh of Metamora, Ill.; two sisters -- Ruth Baynard of Metamora, Ill., and Jackie Kastner of Minneapolis, Minn.; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Martha Mauschbaugh and four sisters -- Betty Jane Mauschbaugh, Martha Debbout, Margaret Mau and Mary Peckham; and one grandson, Isaeah Wilson.
The funeral service was held June 20 at Heath Funeral Home, Oak Hill Chapel in Hardy. Burial was in the Baker Cemetery in Ozark Acres. Dr. Don Mayberry officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of the Heath Funeral Home of Hardy.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Riggs, John Riggs, Rory Mauschbaugh, Scott Mausch-baugh, James Mauschbaugh and Shannon Wilson.
