Thomas Leon Goetting, of Rocky Mount, Mo., a former St. Charles County resident, was born July 28, 1933, at Wild Cherry, Ark. He died Sept. 25, 2007.
He worked as a cost estimator for McDonnell Douglas for 34 years in St. Louis, Mo. He enjoyed scuba diving when he was younger as well as traveling and boating.
He was a veteran having served in the United States Army from October 1954, to October of 1956.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Goetting (nee: Haley) of Rocky Mount; a son, Terry (Karen) Goetting of Lake St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter, Tina Goetting of Versailles, Mo.; a granddaughter, Jade (Nate)?Butler of O'Fallon, Mo.; grandsons, Lee Goetting of Lake St. Louis, Aaron Goetting of Rocky ?Mount, and Johna-thon Lore of Versailles, Mo.; a granddaughter, Shannon Goetting of Versailles; great-grandchildren, Morgan, McKenzie and Naje; and two sisters, Anna (Don) Loftis of Bentonville, Ark., and Betty (Jack) Carrow of Harrison, Ark.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Carl W. Goetting Sr. and Lexie Goetting; a brother, Monty Goetting.
Funeral services were held Sept. 30 at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center Chapel in St. Charles. Burial was in St. Charles Memorial Gardens in St. Charles.
Services were under the direction of Baue Funeral and Memorial Center of St. Charles.
