Audie M. Richardson, 79, of Marshall, formerly of Batesville, died July 5, 2005, at the Searcy County Nursing and Rehab Center in Marshall. She was born July 30, 1925, at Dolph, Ark., the daughter of Steve Frank and Lucy Pearl Young Wayland. She was a retired housekeeper, a member of the EH Club at McHue and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one son, Darrell Richardson of Cord, two daughters -- Kathy Crawford of Marshall and Judy White of Cushman, one brother, Wavil Wayland of Mountain Home, two sisters -- Auline Morgan of Viola and Helen Zumwalt of Oregon, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, David Dewitt, four brothers -- Willie Wayland, Darrell Wayland, Hershell Wayland and Freddie Wayland, and two sisters -- Lois Rand and Reamell Turner.
The funeral was July 8 at Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Andy Bullington officiating. Burial was in the Crossroads Cemetery near Pineville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Pallbearers were James Richardson, Shawn Thornley, Steven Thompson, Rickie Whie, Wavil Wayland and John Collins.
