Couch School Board starts planning for next school year

MYRTLE -- The Couch School Board voted June 13 to enter into a contract with Ozarks Medical Center for the upcoming school year to provide speech and physical therapy services at the school, as needed.

The board voted to set the price they will pay for wood at $30 per 4-foot by 8-foot stack and to advertise for suppliers. They voted to accept IESI's bid for garbage disposal for next school year and to accept the bid of Alton Bank as the banking depository for the school district.

The school board voted to offer Joan Bull employment at the school as a part-time teacher. They also voted to set the date for the monthly school board meetings on the first Monday of each month.
