Matt Jeffery of Franklin, Ark., has qualified to compete at the National Leadership Conference for Phi Beta Lambda, a society for college students in business related fields. The competition will take place in Nashville, Tenn., June 24-27.
Jeffery won the right to compete at the national level by placing second in two categories, business communications and marketing concepts, during the state competition held in Little Rock April 10 and 11. He competed against other students from colleges and universities across Arkansas.
Jeffery, a sophomore at Williams Baptist College, is majoring in business administration. He is the son of Edward and Debbie Jeffery of Franklin.
Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge.
