Junior Dean Robinson, 57, of Cornell, Ill., died June 24, 2006, at his home in Cornell.
He was born Sept. 11, 1948, in Many Islands, Ark., the son of Jack and Mary Hurst Robinson.
He married Christine Wiles Jan. 15, 1994 in Pontiac, Ill. She survives in Cornell.
Other survivors are his parents, his mother Mary Hutchinson of Pontiac; his father, Jack Robinson of Louisiana; three sons, Clinton (Tammy) Robinson, Harold (Sheri) Robinsoin and William (Kelly) Robinson all of Pocahontas, Ark.; three daughters, Rachel Alverson of Melbourne, and Crystal and Ashley Robinson of Arp, Texas; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Regina (Wally) Rakoczy and Donna (Jim) Frailey, both of Pontiac; two stepbrothers, Lavon (Catherine) Callahan and Chuck (Sharon) Callahan both of Mammoth Spring; one niece and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Edgar Callahan and his grandmother, Minnie Byrd.
Educated in Mammoth Spring Robinson was a retired custodian at the Cornell Grade School and was self-employed in the drywall business.
The funeral services were held on June 29 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home in Chemos, Ill. The Rev. Wayne Hurst officiated.
Burial followed in Pike Township Cemetery, rural Chenoa.
