Ralph E. Kincade, of Salem, son of the late George T. Kincade and Alvena A. Hassler Kincade, was born Jan. 7, 1923, in Pettis County, Mo. He died Aug. 29, 2005, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem at the age of 82.
He was united in marriage to Lois Cunningham Bryant on May 18, 1986, at Salem, Ark.
He was a veteran, having served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
For many years he was owner/operator of Country Catfish in Melbourne. He was a member of the Salem VFW Post 9777. He was a 32nd degree Mason, belonging to Post 272 in Sedalia, Mo., and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Kincade of the family home; his children -- Michael Wayne Kincade of St. Louis, Mo., Ronald James (Debbie) Kincade of Kansas City, Mo., Janet Kay (Randy) Byard of Clarksville, Tenn., and Vickie L. Hoskins of Agnos; his stepchildren -- Roger (Tambra) Bryant of Springfield, Mo., Rhonda Shannon of Salem, Gary Bryant of Salem, and Carol (Gail) Johnson of Grand Junction, Colo.; his sisters -- Birdie (George) Ditzfeld and Barbara Miller, all of Sedalia, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; and a host of other friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
Services were Aug. 31 at the Cox-Blevins Chapel in Salem Burial was in the Salem Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
