Hall awarded scholarship

Thursday, April 20, 2006

Tabitha Hall of Glencoe has accepted the academic distinction scholarship to attend Arkansas State University Mountain Home in the fall. The scholarship pays full tuition and will transfer to ASU Jonesboro for the remaining two years of a four-year degree, provided the scholarship policy is satisfied.

ASU Mountain Home awards scholarships based on the student's score on the American College Test or the student's graduating class rank. Students passing the General Education Development (GED) test may also be eligible for this scholarship.

Hall, who will graduate from Salem High School in May, is the daughter of Cavin and Tina Hall. Her school and community activities include Student Council, Beta Club, Spanish Club, basketball, softball, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and senior class vice president. She will pursue a degree in nursing.
