Constance I. (Connie) Mask of Viola, daughter of the late Joseph Andrew and Agnes Marie (Krynick) Rolewicz, was born March 21, 1931, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. She died Aug. 16, 2005, in Salem at the age of 74 years.
Connie was united in marriage to Edward William Mask July 8, 1946, at Salem and to this union seven children were born. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a nurse. She was of the Baptist faith.
She leaves to mourn her passing: six sons; Karl Mask and wife Carol of Viola, Dale Mask of Viola, Jack Mask of Thayer, Mo., Keith Mask and wife Marilyn of Salem, Richard Mask and wife Luetta of Mammoth Spring, and Jeffery Mask of Cherokee Village; one daughter, Judy Bowers and husband Carlos of Thayer; Mo. four sisters, Cathy Nemeth of Trenton, N. J., Dolores Burguess of Trenton, Carol Nelson of Matawan, N. J., and Geraldine Sivilich of Willingboro, N. J.; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Mask, parents, three grandsons, Tim Mask and 2 infants; great-grandson Hayden Johnson; a brother Joseph Port Rolewicz; and five sisters, Blanche Kahn, Evelyn Rider, Rose Seely, Bernadine Greco and Josephine McCourt.
Funeral services were held Aug. 20, at the Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, with Bro. Richard Robinson officiating. Interment was in the Camp Cemetery, Camp, under the direction of Barker Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were Jackie Owens, Roger Albright and David Albright.
Memorials are preferred to the Camp Cemetery Association or American Cancer Society.
