Charles Kirsch, 69, of Cherokee Village died April 27, 2005, in St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born in Waupun, Wis., he was an assemblyman for Olham Chemical in Memphis, Tenn., before retiring to Cherokee Village two years ago.
He served in the Navy and Coast Guard for more than 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Kestner Kirsch of Cherokee Village; two sons -- Shawn Kirsch of Southhaven, Miss., and Randy and his wife, Patricia Kirsch of Covington, Tenn.; two sisters Dottie Zeier and Gorgie Bohen, both of Milwaukee, Wis.; and two grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death.
A funeral mass was May 3 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cherokee Village with Father Kevin Atunzu officiating. Burial followed in Evening Shadows Cemetery in Horseshoe Bend. Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Chero-kee Chapel in Highland.
