A one-half scale replica of the most visited monument in Washington, D.C., will be on display at the Arkansas State University campus in Jonesboro March 17-20.

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall (The Wall That Heals) lists the names of over 58,000 military personnel who were killed in the Vietnam War.

The opening ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. March 17. The Wall will be set up immediately west of the ASU football stadium in the tailgate area.

The Wall will be open to visitors from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 17-19. On March 20 the hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at which time the closing ceremony will take place.

The public is invited and the admission is free.

The display is sponsored by the Northeast Arkansas Chapel of the Military Officers Association of America of Jonesboro and Chapter 100 of the Retired Enlisted Association of Paragould.

The 875th Engineer Battalion of the Arkansas National Guard will assist with setting up the Wall and will provide 24-hour security.
