Crowder, Leroux united in marriage

Lisa Ann Leroux and Adam Ray Crowder were united in marriage on Oct. 29, 2005, at the Doniphan Church of Christ.

The bride is the daughter of Keith and Carolyn Leroux of Gatewood and the granddaughter of Beulah Coonce and the late Thomas Coonce of Gatewood and Russell and Kathy Leroux and the late Jesse Leroux of Doniphan. The bridegroom is the son of Jim and Phyllis Crowder of Couch. He is the grandson of Kenneth Melton and the late Lavern Melton of Couch and the late Roy and Lurene Crowder.

Maid of honor was cousin of the bride Logan Coonce of Corpus Christi, Texas. Friends of the bride Mallory Collins, Monica Collins and Susan Sanders, all of Doniphan, and Nicole Melton of Couch were bridesmaids. They wore long chocolate colored dresses, made by seamstress Lynn Maples, and all carried fall bouquets.

Best man was Mathew Crowder, brother of the groom. Friends of the groom Dustin Reeves of Doniphan, Zack Reifsneider of of Couch, Jimmy Roberson of Gatewood, and cousin of the groom Douglas Melton were groomsmen. Serving as usher was Cody Coonce, cousin of the bride.

Guest book attendant was a friend of the bride Tasha Reeves.

Courtney Sanders was wedding coordinator. Tommy Coonce, uncle of the bride, provided the sound equipment. Soloist Diane Sanders sang "From This Moment."

The ringbearer was Colby Patterson. Flower girl was Madi Leroux, cousin of the bride. She wore a white organza dress that the bride wore when she was little.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an elegant long sleeved off-the-shoulder, white wedding gown. The bodice and sleeves were embossed with pearls, beads and rose appliqued lace. The skirt and long train were made of tulle and accented with roses, beads and pearls. She wore a sheer veil with tiny crystals along the edge with a pearl and crystal tiara and carried a fall bouquet. As she and her father entered the room fall leaves fell delicately from the ceiling.

The double ring candlelight ceremony was performed by Steve Sanders.

A reception followed the ceremony.

Servers included Melody Leroux, aunt of the bride, Jane Linley, Stephanie Meyers, Mandy Leroux, Crystal Strong and Jan Melton. The wedding and reception were beautifully decorated by Melody Leroux, assisted by other members of the bride's family.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Couch High School. She is currently a sophomore at Three Rivers Community College majoring in business administration. She is employed by the USDA as a program technician for the Farm Service Agency.

The groom is also a 2004 graduate of Couch High School and is currently employed by Meeks Lumber and Building Supply in Poplar Bluff.

The couple honeymooned in Eureka Springs, Ark., and now reside in Doniphan.
