Emergency personnel from Fulton and Oregon county ambulance services work to stabilize a Jonesboro man involved in a wreck along Highway 63 Sept. 1. According to the report filed by Arkansas State Trooper Kenneth Foley, at approximately 8:10 a.m. Garry Thomas, 47, was traveling on a 1985 Honda Motorcycle south of Mammoth Spring when Mark Kronik, 55, of Mammoth Spring attempted to make a left turn in his 1993 Dodge Van and drove into Thomas' path. Thomas was flown by West Plains Air Evac Lifeteam to St. John's Hospital in Springfield, where as of press time, he was listed in fair condition. Charges are pending against Kronik who was not injured in the incident.
