Dorothy Fay Simington Cramer, of Salem, Ark., daughter of the late Daniel Simington and Helen Elizabeth McLennan Simington, was born Nov. 25, 1916, in San Jon, N.M.
She died Nov. 2, 2005, at Fulton County Nursing Home in Salem at the age of 88 years.
She was married to John Cramer on June 19, 1983, in Salem.
She spent most of her working life in Texas, Arizona and California before moving to Salem in 1975.
She is survived by four nephews, Bill Byrd, Orphus Byrd, Bill Hardesty, and Jack Simington; seven nieces, Maurene Tarrer, Doris Philip, Ida F. Angelo, Marjorie Lenshaw, Billie M. Bailey, Grace Johnson and LaVon F. Simington.
She was preceded in death by her husband; four brothers, Albert Simington, Melvin "Sy" Simington, William "Bill" Simington and Alden "Al" Simington; three sisters, Bessie M. Byrd, Virgie Mae Frost and Opal L. Hardesty; and her father and mother.
Services were held Nov. 5 at Cox-Blevins Chapel in Salem.
Burial was in Salem Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
