Shirley Nadine Shinn 81, of Salem, Ark., died on Jan. 28, 2008, at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Ark. She was born in Bawshaw, Wis., on June 18, 1926, the daughter of the late Allen Lewis and Myrtle Emma (Wisdom)?Clark.
She worked in housekeeping for a nursing home.
She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was the widow of Gilbert L. Shinn whom she married on Sept. 6, 1949, at Cassville, Wis.
She is survived by: three daughters, Ellen Moss of Webster City, Iowa, Barb Shinn of Mallard, Iowa, and Liz Hurt of Salem, Ark.; one son, David Shinn of Bagley, Wis.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lorraine King, Alene Eigne, Dorthy Thorn and Eva Snider all of Wisconsin.
Funeral services were held Jan. 31 at the Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem with Pastor Nathan Dixon officiating. Burial followed in the Salem Cemetery in Salem, Ark., with arrangements under the direction of the Barker Funeral Home of Salem.
Pallbearers were Vernon Stainacker, William Stainacker, William Stainacker Jr., J.D. Stainacker, Lee Stainacker and Dalton Payne.
