Edna Rhea Hamilton Webb, 95, of Louisburg, Kan., died Jan. 7, 2006. She was born Sept. 19, 1910, in Larkin, Ark., to George and Augusta Billingsley Hamilton. She attended school in Larkin and later was married to Buck Webb on Dec. 24, 1928. From this union six children were born. Webb lived for many years in Salem, Ark., before moving to Louisburg, Kan. She worked hard as a wife and homemaker and later as a foster grandparent, a Green Thumb employee and as a volunteer for Mom's Day Out. She also worked at the Senior Center in Louisburg.
Survivors include one sister, Rhudene Cheshire of Wenatchee, Wash.; daughers, Sherrie and husband, Henry Arbuckle of Afton, Okla., and Linda and husband, Mack Blevins of Oswatomie, Kan. She is survived by 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Webb was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers; one sister; and four children, Buck Webb Jr., Oscar Webb, J.C. Webb and Bernice Eldried.
The funeral service was held Jan. 12 at Wilson & Son Funeral Home in Louisburg, Kan. Burial followed in Louisburg Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wison & Son Funeral Home of Louisburg.
