Thursday, February 2, 2006

Fulton County Agricultural Extension Agent Clay Cochran resigned Jan. 24. Hamilton said the details of Cochran's resignation were confidential. Cochran had no comment for the media.

Mike Hamilton, University of Arkansas Extension agent for the Ozarks District, said the position will be advertised for 30 days on the Arkansas' Extension Service's Web site at www.uaex.edu.

"We'll fill the position as soon as possible," he said. Jobs are posted on the Extension Office's Web site every Friday.

"It's a full-time job," Hamilton said.

Reynolds said it is also a professional position.
