Douglas Lee Hacker Sr. of Salem, Ark., son of the late Carlos and Oda Roberts Hacker was born May 4, 1942, in Manchester, Ky. He died on Dec. 11, 2005, at Mountain. Home, Ark., at the age of 63 years.
He spent his working years as a father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a truck driver. He was of the Pentecostal faith and served his country in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include a son, Douglas Lee Hacker Jr. of Camp, Ark.; two daughters, Cynthia L. Hacker of Oxford, Ohio and Robin Denise Hacker of Oxford, Ohio; two sisters, Verlie Smith of Oxford, Ohio; and Rosella Childers of London, Ky.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and two sisters.
Local arrangements were under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Ark. The funeral service was held Dec. 16 at the Smith and Ogle Funeral Home in Oxford, Ohio with arrangements under their direction.
Pallbearers were Richard Creager, James Smith, David Robinson, Douglas Randell Creager, Josh Caudill and Jeff Lowder.
