The Fulton County Hospital Foundation purchased several new chairs for the hospital recently. Holly Pate, Trena Spears, Suzette Burk, Janie Flynn and Josh Smith stand with Ken and LaDonna Harper, owners of LaDonna's Furniture, Decor and More and their general manager Scott Goodson.

The Fulton County Hospital Foundation recently purchased four new flame retardant recliner chairs for the patient rooms at the Fulton County Hospital.

LaDonna's Furniture, Decor and More, in Horseshoe Bend and Highland, ordered the chairs for the foundation and donated one additional chair for a total of five.

A chili supper fundraiser was held in November right before the first Salem High School home basketball game. The chili supper raised $1,600 which was used to purchase the recliners.

The foundation was formed this past year. Foundation member Trena Spears said some of the money the foundation raises will be used to purchase items for the hospital; however, much of the money will go back into the community for charitable purposes.

For more information or to make a donation contact Spears at 870-371-0848 or at North Arkansas Home Care, 870-895-2273.
