Keith Harmon of Southfork, Mo., son of David and Sandra Harmon of Jonesboro, Ark., was born June 9, 1970, in Calico Rock, Ark. He died Feb. 26, 2008, in Springfield, Mo., at the age of 37.
He graduated from Melbourne High School in 1987. He was united in marriage to Melissa Galloway on Jan. 3, 1997, and to this union two daughters were born. At the time of his death he was employed as a carpenter. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by: his wife of 11 years, Melissa Harmon of Southfork; two daughters, MacKenzie Kay Harmon and Gracie Clare Harmon both of Southfork; his parents, David and Sandra Harmon of Jonesboro; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Shannon Harmon of Southfork; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Terri and Greg Armstrong of Locust Grove, and Sherri and Huey Breckenridge of Beedeville; his maternal grandfather, J.T. Monroe of California; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, Lee and Merle Harmonl; and maternal grandmother, Charcie Monroe.
Funeral services were held Feb. 29, 2008 at the Howard Memorial Chapel in Melbourne with Chuck Summers officiating. Burial followed at Southfork Cemetery in Southfork.
Pallbearers were: Jimmy Walker, Johnnie Walker, Bill Adams, Keith Craig, John Mincey and Craig Rush.
Honorary pallbearers were: Justin Rush, Chris Moser, Dale Rice, Brent Culsell, and David Seamon.
