Maranda Leigh Estes Verser, 24, of Evening Shade died April 1, 2005, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born June 26, 1980, in Jonesboro, she was the daughter of Christopher Clyde and Tommie Dianne Qualls Estes.
She was a graduate of Evening Shade High School, a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include three children -- Maddison Paige Verser, Levi Cannon Verser and Jacob Aaron Moore, all of the home; her mother and stepfather -- Dianne and Randal Moore of Evening Shade; her father, Chris Estes of Cabot; a brother, Aaron Estes of Evening Shade; three grandparents -- Thomas Qualls of Evening Shade, and John and Frances Estes of Poughkeepsie; two step-grandparents -- Dale and Jean Moore of Floral; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Elizabeth Qualls.
The funeral service was held on April 5 at Evening Shade School Gymnasium in Evening Shade, Ark., with Fred Strasser officiating.
Burial followed in Qualls Family Cemetery at Evening Shade with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Robbie Thomas, Michael Thomas, Wayne Muston, Tommy Muston, Chris Guinnip and Nick Herrington.
Honorary pallbearers were Lenny Rush, Wayne Long, Doyle Whitten, Bruce Muston, Steve Moore and Virgil Kunkel.
