The funeral for Howard and Beryl Haney Green of Mammoth Spring, Ark., was April 1, 2005, at Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Mo., with Lee Moses officiating.

Burial was in Riverside Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.

Howard Lamore Green, son of the late Ganie E. Green and Ella Marie Taylor Green, was born Feb. 26, 1923, in Camp, Ark., and died March 28, 2005, in Mammoth Spring at the age of 82.

Amanda Beryl Green, daughter of the late Lee Haney and Stella Reed Haney, was born Aug. 21, 1920, in Yarboro, Ark., and died March 28, 2005, in Mammoth Spring at the age of 84.

They were united in marriage Nov. 27, 1952.

They are survived by their daughter, Marica Michaels and her husband, Wayne, of Mammoth Spring; two grandsons -- Earl Michaels Jr., and his wife, Leah, of Jonesboro, Ark., and Nathan Michaels and his wife, Jennifer, of Mammoth Spring; and an unborn great-grandchild.

Survivors for Howard Green include a brother, Harold Green of Salem, Ark.

Survivors for Beryl Green also include a brother, Gene Haney and his wife, Ann, of Mammoth Spring; and a sister, Becky Howell and her husband, Jack, of Mammoth Spring.

Howard Green was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Vida Green; and an infant brother.

Beryl Green was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister, Merle McHenry; a sister, Cora Lee Phelps; and six brothers -- Luther, Oren, Claude, Woodrow, R.L. and Charles Haney.

Howard Green was a carpenter and was employed by the Mammoth Spring School District as a school bus driver for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Beryl Green was a seamstress, working for Puritan Fashions for many years. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Mammoth Spring.

Together, they were a loving couple, father, mother, grandparent, sister and brother, and were loved by all who knew them. They will be sadly missed by all.
