Jerry L. Williams, 66, of White Hall, died at his home July 23. He was born June 6, 1939, in Pine Bluff, a son of the late Fred Williams and Lela Mae Stuckey Holland.

He was raised and received his education in Pine Bluff and Glendale, graduating from Glendale High School. He had been a lifelong resident of the Pine Bluff area. He retired in 1997 from Arkansas Louisiana Gas Company, (now Center-point Energy), after twenty eight years of service. He began work- ing for the White Hall School District retiring in July of 2004.

He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where he served as usher and a greeter and was on the maintenance committee.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Inis Williams, whom he married July 12, 1962, in Pine Buff; two daughters -- Cindy Richardson of Kelier, Texas and Rhonda Sellers of Cherokee Village; three granddaughters -- Lauren and Andrea Richardson of Keller, Texas and Lindsay Sellers of Cherokee Village.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Grady Williams; a sister, June Williams and a granddaughter, Cynthia Marie Sellers.

The funeral service was July 26 at Bethany Baptist Church. Interment was in the Center Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gaylon Presley, Buddy Pittillo, Jerrell Boast, Doug Brown, Larry Porter, Burnell Summeford, Dr. Doug Coleman, Boe Fontaine, Donnie Mathis and Brendan Coleman.
