Jay Williams, 35, of Carlsbad, N.M., died August 21, 2005 at Carlsbad Medical Center. He was born March 28, 1970 in Pasadena, Texas to Thomas and Connie Heath Williams and was raised in Texas, Arizona and California.
He was a Christian, baptised at the age of 13. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and loved his family. He had a tendency to be stubborn and impatient but his role as a parent was changing his lifestyle and he was becoming more responsible and enjoying his family. He was outspoken and always honest about what he thought. He had his bike and his family, which were the most important things to him. He was known as a friend you could always count on. He was a video junkie and a very good cook. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Williams, grandfather, Hollis Heath and grandmother, Alice Brymer.
Survivors include: his wife, Angie Williams of the family home, children -- Fox Williams, Darius Williams, Jaida Williams and Micki Lewis all of Carlsbad, his mother, Connie Williams of Glencoe, Ark., one sister, Heather Williams of Omaha; grandparents, Mildred Heath of Carlsbad and Willard Brymer of Plainview, Texas.
A memorial service was held Aug. 25 at Denton-Funchess Funeral Home Chapel with Brian McGonagil officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers were: Steven, Joe Ferrell, Gary Brymer, Joe Brymer, Lucky Heath, and H.R. Heath.
