The "Old Hardy Town" Fall Arts and Crafts Festival will be celebrating its 23rd year Oct. 15 and 16.
The Arts and Crafts Festival will be free to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 15 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 16.
There will be free music on Main Street.
Vendors will be located directly on Main Street (Highway 63) in festival tents in parking lots along Main Street and in the Old Hardy Gym.
Speciality food items will include alligator on a stick, onion blossoms, fresh lemonade, fried twinkies, ice cream, kettle korn and Ozark barbecue.
Free parking will be one block off Main Street and within five blocks of the festival.
Shoppers will be able to visit the specialty shops that comprise the National Register Historic District of Hardy.
The Arts and Crafts Festival is juried and only handmade, handcrafted or home-grown items are allowed.
A large variety of crafts, including wooden goods, jewelry, clothing, candles, homegrown and prepared foods, indoor and outdoor home decor, art work, dolls, holiday items and many other handmade items will be featured.
The festival will have several food vendors and nearly 100 craft vendors.
Craft vendors representing many states come to this bi-annual festival which is one of the largest and most attended in the nation.
The Arts and Crafts Festival annually attracts over 14,000 visitors to this town of 700 residents.
