Dora Ann Johnson, age 103, of Alton, Mo., was born Sept. 13, 1902, in Oregon County, Mo., and died Nov. 2, 2005, at Shady Oaks Healthcare in Thayer, Mo.
She was united in marriage to Clair E. Johnson Sept. 9, 1924, who preceded her in death March 7, 1967.
She was a longtime member of the Many Springs Church and a Gold Star Mother, having lost a son in the Vietnam Conflict.
Survivors include three children, Kyle G. Johnson and wife, Grace of Jacksonville, Ark.; Joe Johnson and wife, Jeanette of Fenton, Mo.; Ruth Williams and husband, Waldo, of Van Buren, Mo.; and one daughter-in-law, Virginia F. Johnson of Hampton, VA; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, Greene Albert Blankenship and Martha Ann Sanders-Blankenship; one son, Edward Johnson; four brothers and five sisters.
The funeral service was held on Nov. 5 at the Clary Chapel with Bro. John Lewis Casey officiating. Burial followed in the Many Springs Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, Mo.
