Tommy Max Forschler was born Nov. 4, 1947, in Thayer, Mo., son of William Raymond Forschler and Eva Maxine Clark Forschler. He died Dec. 2, 2007, in West Plains, Mo., at the age of 60.
He was a United States postal worker, a member of the National Rural Letter Carrier Association and an avid Cardinals baseball fan. He was a member of Thayer Assembly of God Church for many years.
He is survived by: two sons, T.J. Forschler and wife, Annie of Ozark, Mo., and Lucas Forschler and fiancee, Jennifer of Seattle, Wash.; two daughters, Tara Forschler of Ozark, Mo., and Autumn Forschler of Thayer; one grandchild, Brandelynn Taylor of Ozark, Mo.; one great-grandchild, Malachi Wilt of Ozark, Mo.; one sister, Billie Reeves of Thayer; three nieces, Amber Karpel, Ashly Morrison and Alexis Jennings; one great-niece; and three great-nephews; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Eva Forschler.
Funeral services were held Dec. 6 with Rev. Ray Andrews Jr. officiating. Burial followed in the Clifton Cemetery near Thayer with arrangements under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
